One of the most exciting experiences I've ever had was a few years ago, in the summer of 2000.
I went to France with my uncle and my cousin. My uncle lives in Brazil and that year he came to Portugal on holidays and decided to visit France. As I have relatives there he took me with him. It was a long week for me... My cousin was our guide and we went sightseeing. Unfortunately I hated the French food, especially the cheese. There are lots of kinds of cheese and some look bad, but my uncle made me eat them!!!
The worst day of that week was when I had to walk all the way from Arch of Triumph to the Louvre. at the end I was exhausted! So they took me back to the hotel and then they went to the night clubs. Fortunately I was tired; but if I hadn't been that tired, I would have gone with them.

Hi!
I'm going to tell you a trully fascinating experience. In April 2006 in my medical tests to the air force academy, on a free afternoon, we had a crazy idea: to do bungee jumping. That way a normal afternoon became an amazing one, maybe the best afternoon in my life.
When I arrived there, I felt a bit scared, but when I saw some of my comrades jump, I felt more confident.
Actually I liked it so much that I would like to do it again.
See you later

Flying for the first time:
The first time that I flew was the last summer in the FLIGHT STAGE of the Portuguese Air Force Academy with Colonel Borrego.I was sitting in Flight Squadron 802 and I was very nervous because of I didn’t know my classification in the test and I didn´t have my name in the plan to fly. When I received my classification I stayed very proud because I had the best classification so I could fly. After this, Colonel Borrego came and asked me:
Colonel – Are you Silva?
Silva – Yes, sir.
Colonel – Do you want to fly?
Silva – Yes, sir.
Colonel – Well, put a big smile in your face because we are going to fly together. And I stayed very proud of flying with a fighter pilot but the most important with a wonderful person.

At the end of the high school, the whole class went to Amsterdam.

It was a great experience as we visited many places and got to know a new culture. We took part in a trip around Zaans Schans, a white beautiful landscape in the north of the capital. In Amsterdam we saw famous places like the well known red light district, the Van Gogh’s museum, Rembrandt museum, a diamond traditional factory, the modern coffeeshops and the huge flower market.

During the whole trip around the region we saw many dikes and beautiful tulip gardens all over the country.

It was a really fantastic country to visit.

Welcome back! This is the post number two and it's all about an exciting experience I went through. I already went skiing for three times and I love it because skiing is unlike any other sport I ever practiced. During the way down I felt a great rush and an outraging sense of freedom. This spot allows us to rush down steepy hills at vertiginous speeds, but if you never experienced this sport you may begin by practicing in easier courses.
Try it out! It's really cool! Don't lose my next post. Bye

João Campos

So now we can see you all and get to know you a little bit better.
But you have to tell us something else about yourselves: you've had for sure an exciting experience that you will always remember.
How about writing something on this subject?
I´ll be looking forward to it

Hi! My name is João Campos. I'm 18 years old and I live in Almada with my parents and sisters. During the week I study at AFA so one day I may become a Military Aeronautical Engineer, because I love engines and everything about aircraft. I would like to work in F-16, when I finish my course. I like playing football, skiing, hanging out with my friends, watching a good movie and playing computer games.
Don't miss the next post!! C U

Hi, people!
My name is Bruno Caetano. I'm 19 years old but on the last day of this month (April) I'll be 20. I'll be older!!! I was born in Guarda, more precisely in Ervedosa, a small village in the area. I spend lots of weekends in Lisbon because I have family here. When I go home I spend too much time travelling.
My hobbies are fishing and motocross. Before I entered the Academy I used to practise Karate but now it's impossible. Fishing is very good for relaxing: when I'm fishing I only think about fish!!! And motocross is beautiful. I have a motorbike, a KTM 450, and I love it.
See you later.

Hi! My name is Jorge Liquito. I am 19 years old. I live in Barroselas, near Viana do Castelo.
I have always dreamed of being a cadet of the Portuguese Air Force. Now my dream is fulfilled. My specialty is aeronautical engineering, because I love everything with wings. In the future I'd like to work on the F-16 or the EH-101.
In my free time I read, run with my comrades, watch some documentaries about planes and do some sports. But my favourite hobby is BTT (motocross), because it's fantastic racing in the mountains.
Later I will say more about myself. Bye!

Hello! My name is Pedro Cachouchas. I'm 18 years old and I come from the beautiful city of Évora. At this moment I 'm a cadet of the Portuguese Air Force Academy and my dream is to be a military pilot. I was born in Switzerland and I came to Portugal at the age of 9.
Later I will tell you something more about me!

My name is Catarina but usually everyone calls me Botica. This started at high school because I had three classmates called Catarina and then in the Portuguese Air Force Academy (where I’m studying now), because everyone is called by the last name. Despite that, I have a “family” in the academy and its name is “Mimosa”. That’s why I signed that way.
Now, I’m 18, and I’m the youngest woman in the academy. I spend the weekends in Entroncamento, my hometown, but I’ve already lived in Lisbon. I haven’t got any special hobbies, so I can’t tell you about them.
So, see you next post( “an exciting experience” ).
